Chainsaw Cut-Protection Trousers
Specialist chainsaw clothing is highly recommended to protect you from the unexpected. It could mean the difference between life or death.
Safety clothing comes with a Class rating to determine the chainsaw speed that the clothing was tested against, and a Design rating that shows whether the trousers are suitable for ground work such as chopping firewood or tree work and climbing.
The Class rating system is based on the ability of the clothing to effectively stop the chain when it is running at different speeds. Design A trousers offer front only leg protection and are generally used by those who work on the ground, such as users that are cutting firewood. Design C trousers offer both front and rear protection and are suited to those who work at different angles such as tree surgeons or climbers.
